From Monday 23 to Sunday 29 September 2019, the BISFed 2019 Nymburk Boccia Regional Open international qualification tournament took place in the Czech Sports Center Nymburk near Prague. Players from 11 countries of the world participated in the competition. It was played in categories BC1 to BC4, including pairs and teams on a total of eight courts.

Dear chess supporters, dear polomers, It is a pleasure for me to inform you that the Gemerská Poloma Chess Club has built a chess table for you, which is located in the park next to Elementary School. Members of ŠK GP as well as Ondrej Bašták Ďurán BASHTO SPORTS based in the village, which is engaged in the production of sports aids and which sponsored all the costs associated with the construction of the chess table, participated in its construction.

On September 11, 2019, the 3rd BC3 laegue round was held. The matches of the third round took place in the gym of the elementary school in Turie. The tournament featured 10 players, from our club series defended our colors Miroslav Bielak, Ľuba Škvarnová, Libuša Drahňáková and Mária Smolková. Michal Tižo was unable to participate in the tournament for health reasons, so he could not defend the first place after the first two rounds.
